Breezy northwest winds subside after sunset with lows tonight sinking into the 50s under clear skies.
MORE 80s TOMORROW
Wednesday looks pleasant with more seasonably warm and dry weather. A few clouds will move in during the afternoon, but still partly cloudy overall. Low pressure will approach at night, with a risk of showers mainly south of the MA Pike arriving toward midnight.
Summer officially begins this Thursday at 6:07 AM. The longest (daylight) day of the year brings the Boston sunrise at 5:07 AM and sunset at 8:24 PM. After morning showers favoring areas south of the Pike, the day will feature increasing sun and seasonable highs in the 70s. Sea breezes will tend to keep conditions a little cooler at local beaches late week.
PEABODY ZIP TRIP
Every Friday of the summer we bring the Boston 25 Morning News to a different Massachusetts town. Our Zip Trip season kicks off this week at Emerson Park in Peabody from 6-10 AM. The weather is a perfect excuse to come say "hi". Plan on wake-up weather in the upper 50s. Sunshine will boost temps back to 70 degrees by 10 AM. Inland towns and cities will reach highs in the lower 80s during the afternoon, while the beaches stick with the middle 70s.
